a lil' bit of everything

August 31 After a couple hours of T.V. I just sit there on my couch, staring blankly into space, dumbfounded by the complete backwards way in which this world functions sometimes. I know that " Life isn't fair", and "Only the good die young", and "If wishes were horses", and all of that other crap that we heard growing up is true; yet you know what? I would just really love to see the good people, AND the bad people, get what they deserve accordingly; I would really enjoy watching the nice guy finish FIRST; I would love to see decent people catching a break sometimes. The inequities of the world are staggering... I would have more of a chance of stumbling across a lamp with a genie inside of it, than of ever seeing the playing fields evened out for all people- I guess that's where Darwin's idea of the "survival of the fittest" fits in...kind of. Maybe I am just living in a dream world. Maybe I just wish that I could stay there more of the time. He Wishes For The Cloths of Heaven- William Butler Yeats This is from "The Wind Among The Reeds".

From my man Lenny Kravitz... August 06 Loving Today, I was just sitting around, daydreaming about travel...and realizing how much I miss I miss my home town of Boston... I have actually been seriously thinking about moving back there; ( after a couple of years in upstate New York) I had my beautiful son here, I think that the people are UNBELIEVABLY nice in this area, but I am just SO homesick for The Boston Gardens in autumn, Fenway park, and their hot dogs, while watching the Sox play, the fireworks on the Fourth of July, and the listeningto the seagulls cry at Castle Island, while sitting on the grass, eting french fries with the cool ocean breeze blowing at your face, as the planes take off from Logan Airport... I want my little boy to know these simple pleasures, to have these magical memories. I miss the people, their Bahston accents, and public transportation... I miss the people that I love so much- and I will see them again soon, I hope!!!! Nikkitastars
